Question for all you science types out there... I read an article in the Wall Street Journal that says that modern golf balls have dimples, because dimples help reduce drag when the ball is in the air. Sooo... why don't airplanes have dimples? Wouldn't that help reduce the drag on the airplane and reduce fuel consumption?
